Good power numbers, but OBP leaves much to be desired.

The only thing that makes me question the seriousness of the talks is that the Sox usually go covert in their trade dealings. The general rule of thumb is if you hear about it, it doesnít end up happening, and if it does happen, thatís the first youíve heard of it.

Maybe leaking info to build some leverage in other trade talks? Hmmm!

I want Schoop honestly. Dude has been on a consistent tear. I think we can get Escobar for pennies, Schoop for average specs or spec at best, and Frazier for 2 or 3 solid specs, but not upper echelon.

Give me Frazier for Sheets and Lambert.

Give me Schoop for Adolfo and Burdi.

Play Frazier in the OF and Schoop at 2B.

    Vaughn/Leury/Frazier
    Yoan/Tim/Schoop/Abreu/Grandal
    Rotating DHs

That team is back to the best in the AL when Kopech returns.

When Eloy and Robert return, we are the AL favorites in the playoffs with this lineup:

    Vaughn/Robert/Frazier
    Yoan/Tim/Schoop/Abreu/Grandal
    Vaughn DH

If Burger can somehow be barely average at 2B, we may see him before long. He is really raking at AAA after 3 years off from baseball. Great story, now just need the happy ending.

Jace Fry has also been very productive and maybe we get a look at him as well.

Seriously, why isn't Mitch Haniger not wearing a Sox uni by this point?

There are reasons why Rick Hahn is not signing certain players. In Hanniger's case, he has not been durable and I think at 30 years old with a back surgery they may want to pass.
Adam Frazier has had a hot start to this season, but that might not be sustained if his prior season numbers hold. He is also 29 years old and might not be useful beyond this year since we have Madrigal in 2022.
You go down the list of guys that might be available and they all have pluses and minuses.
For now I think the Sox should bring up Burger and send down Yerminator while they evaluate possible trades.

It's why Mitch is the ideal candidate. He's an injury risk, but has been basically rock solid healthy this year and really wouldn't host anything close to premier specs given his age.

Have to imagine if Sheets can stay hot through the break, he will have some decent trade value. He was a 2nd round pick, and heís been progressing every year. Pirates could use a young 1B.

I feel with likely Eloy and LouRob back late for a run to a tittle Hahn decides to stay pat.

Brett mention the unkown CBA outcome and who can we keep is a factor and depleting the farm is not worth it now.

    Remember the Tatis trade.

Well Yoan looks like he just broke something in his hand on an awkward slide. Burger might be getting the call tomorrow.

This is something else what is happening to us.

Well his hand his bleeding so maybe it's just a flesh wound with some swelling over the next few days. He's bending his fingers and they are applying pressure to his hand.

And he's staying in the game!!! Someone give that guy some peroxide for that cut lol

And now Yoan is out. Vaughn debuts at 3B. Bham to CF, Goodwin to LF.

Multiple other teams now in on Escobar trade talks. I thought something sounded off about that whole rumor. Sox usually do not operate that way.

Most Sox trades are usually just announced and come out of left field.

Sox just ordered a Burger from the menu.

Mercedez hooked up to a tow truck and hauled back down to Charlotte.

First move well deserved, and second move well overdue.

It was highly improbable that we had the second coming of David Ortiz
