Discuss who would want to trade for to replace Robert or other acquisitions here.

I'm OK with rolling with our guys.

If Eloy and/or Robert come back. Great.

If they decide to trade, Bryant would have been great before the season but I'd imagine his value is skyrocketing again.

We want a long long window of contention so I'd prefer not to get rid of valuable resources for a one year run. Especially now - considering Robert and Jimenez may not be 100 percent come playoff time.

I wanted him in the off season and will pay more now. Give me Kris Bryant. See if a package something along the lines of Stiever, Adolfo and Burger would work

White Sox just signed OF Brian Goodwin, not sure where he'll go right away.

I'm cool chilling on trades until teams start falling out of contention. That's when you get solid role players for pennies. I think we could survive the Central with what we have. Teams don't give guys away when they have false sense of contention.

Engel had a setback in his rehab and is three weeks out from a rehab assignment.

Iíd stand pat, for the time being. Try to get by until Engel comes back and then buy some time for some teams to become sellers and/or see how the recoveries are going with Jimenez and Robert. We are barely into May. Take advantage of the timing of these injuries and make a more informed decision, with more options available , closer to mid season.

Deadline for 2021 is July 30th.

Mitch Haniger from Seattle could be really nice and quite possibly affordable. Perhaps a Burdi, Sheets, very low level pitching spec for Mitch

Heck.... call up sheets. There is no way we can have Leury and Hamilton in the same lineup. Garcia is supposed to be a utility sub, who starts once in a while and Hamilton should never see a batterís box again. But yet here we are relying on both in the same starting lineup.

Our whole starting outfield was unavailable today.... and 3 of the 4 (assuming an Engel/Eaton platoon) will be out for the foreseeable future. Some kind of move must be made.

Sheets played RF so I think thatís a real option. He went 2-5 with a HR, BB, 4 RBIs
