If I was our GM, Iíd be calling Alex Gordon and Nick Markakis every hour until 1 decides to come out of retirement.

TLR is a dumbass. Didn't know this extra inning rule:

I agree. There has to be someone either recently retired, or not being used on another team that can be had on the cheap. Somebody?

Multiple people in the organization have indicated TLR was not and is not Hahn's decision in any way.

-You knew the rule better than I do
    - I was looking for a single there (in regards to playing bad hitters late)
    - Multiple people in clubhouse -Backed by facts- that question TLR's ability to lead this team

The Sox can still win and compete for a title with TLR. They can still win a WS with him.

Having a good offense or record is in no way a reasonable rebuttal to TLR criticism.

Has TLR made mistakes? Sure. The question that is being hinted at but not asked is if he is better than others since managers only limit mistakes. I think the effort on the field shows that TLR is the right man for the job.

The fact that we are winning games and right near the top of the league with Eloy and Engel out, and now Robert out for a significant period is a testament to La Russiaís coaching ability. Not to mention our biggest strength on paper, our bullpen, has limped out of the gate.

He's a national joke so far. No, one of the most talented teams in baseball playing well is absolutely not a testament to TLR. They'd be at the same spot with Ricky still managing.

Effort on the field is expected , they had plenty of that last year with Ricky, who is terrible. They're getting it this year with TLR, who has been getting made fun of for being so put of touch.

The "media" isn't the bad guy. Not sure where you got that from.

Sometimes you run into guys that only say things for reaction, that isn't a lot of the media. Most of these guys build meaningful relationships with organizations and people with close ties to said organizations.

The White Sox should be 18-11 based on their run differential and other team stats.

    https://www.mlb.com/standings

TLR has cost them at least 3 games that I know of.

TLR doesn't know the rules and goes against his coaching staff when they questioned his moves.

But whatever it's Jerry's team, he hired TLR above his GM and President.

No they would not with Ricky at the helm. That's just ignorance.

No, the team is making less mistakes. That's the credit of the coaching staff.

No one in that dugout knew the rule. It'll maybe come into play once more.

I can think of several games they have won because TLR didn't mess it up. Again he makes less mistakes than others and that is exactly what this team is showing.

I repeat. Those that hate TLR will hate no matter what, those that love TLR will love no matter what. The rest of us will allow evidence to sway support.

    I disagree. That isn't ignorance.

For example, I think crediting TLR so far is ignorance.

I have a feeling Chicago journalists would agree with me as well.

You can have the whole world agree with you, it doesn't mean anything. Such an awful debate point.
