Its a tough decision, but it makes sense if you view Jenkins as a LT. Just throw him there right away if thats the case. Im honestly fine with it because I think Jenkins could be better than Leno right away.

Way more worried about RT. They need a vet in that spot.

Damn. Honestly kinda sad to see him go. Plan must be for Jenkins at LT.

Cap savings are 8 mil if it's post 6/1. The tweet said the "plans" are to release him, so my guess is they'll wait till then to make it official.

Mitchell Schwartz makes a ton of sense still.

Cam Sutton, Richard Sherman, Brian Poole, Jason Verrett are the best FAs left. Wonder if someone else gets cut.

Bears were right at the cap though, so it could also just be "someone has to go."

Agreed. Also tells me theyre for real when they say they want Fields to sit a year. I dont think you make this decision with the plans of having a rookie QB out there. Let Dalton deal with the growing pains and have Fields play when Jenkins and Borom are ready to play the OT spots.

If they don't sign anyone, and it's Jenkins/Borom or Ifedi, then yeah, I'm much more inclined to let Field sit as well.

They really should extend Robinson now. It would clear up a decent chunk of cap and allow them to sign a RT and a CB. Id feel soooo much better about the roster if they can do that.

Biggs confirms. Leno will be a 6/1 cut. It's enough money to sign the draft class and fill out the roster, but I don't think it's enough to sign a legit starter. A-Rob and Hicks extensions would make sense.

To me, it was either going to be Leno or Graham to get the axe. Definitely not surprised.

I just hope Kmet takes a big step forward but Graham is gonna eat up a lot of our 2nd year 2nd rounders picks snaps, I guess.

Graham as purely an end-zone guy is fine, but I think outside of that he serves almost no purpose. Kmet should get the bulk of the reps outside of that.

Jason Verrett is a beast at CB. An aggressive/lockdown CB. He would be a great addition
