We donít know if they tried to trade down? Maybe they werenít offered anything good. Or they were afraid kc would jump to get him. Thatís what the word was.

I like the move. Does this mean Sherman is off the table now?

Shed Lawson and bring in Sherman on a friendly deal. If not totally happy with a Vet teaching the young players .

Music to my ears. Mullen, johnson, hobbs, arnette, douglas, nixon, robertson lawson and now heyward! Now that is some serious competition. May the best men win! How many corners do we take into the season?

We're a better team with him. Our CB's played like crap. Somehow I think our starting D could have 6 or 7 new faces. Thank goodness!

Good acquisition. I feel pretty good about the revamped D this year. A new coach and new pieces and parts. Last year was so depressingly bad. If we had a half decent defense we'd have made the playoffs. With a good to better than good D, this team can make some noise.

Amen. If the D is just bad, and not depressingly bad, we have a shot!

I think every team in our division got better. Let's hope the defense isn't just better than last year's defense, but good enough to take on the improved teams that the Raiders will face this year.

Man, I wish the season started tomorrow. Hate waiting.

The truth is the defense was SO bad that almost anything would be an improvement. After all, we gave up a score almost every time in a big situation ... it's not as if we could give up 2 scores on a single possession. Although there were times it felt like it.

Their is reason for optimism. We have added some decent pieces this offseason to the defense:

    Yannick
    Jefferson
    Thomas
    Joseph
    Douglas
    Hayward
    Moehrig
    Deablo
    Koonce
    Gillespie
    Hobbs
