    Discuss.

    Also hi Blams, you should move all them posts from the draft thread relating to these picks here.

    Thanks!

    @kfishbain
    And there’s your Bears CB — Oregon’s Thomas Graham Jr., who had a 4th-round grade from
    @dpbrugler
    : "Graham doesn’t have high-end physical traits, but he works hard to stay on top of routes and makes plays on the football. He projects as an immediate depth piece for an NFL team.”

    Grades from CBS Sports

    Khalil Herbert RB, VATECH
    Height: 5-9, Weight: 212

    Bouncy, contact-balance monster who can piece together multiple cuts to make defenders miss. Lacks long speed. No clue how he was still available. Nice RB depth for Chicago. (Chris Trapasso)

    GRADE: A-

    Dazz Newsome WR, UNC
    Height: 5-11, Weight: 190

    Sudden, return specialist who's skills there translate into the slot. Separates and is dynamic after the catch. Speed allows him to power through tackle attempts. Some drops on film. (Chris Trapasso)

    GRADE: A
    Thomas Graham Jr. CB, OREG
    Height: 5-11, Weight: 196

    Not the biggest nor the most athletic, but always around the football. Elite ball production in college and plays bigger than his size at the catch point. Serious zone instincts. (Chris Trapasso)

    GRADE: A+

    Graham will be starting within two seasons. He’s very good.

    he could start earlier... we have a need at Nickle unless your confident in who we have.

    PFF CHI Bears
    @PFF_Bears
    PFF had a 3rd-round grade on new #Bears CB Thomas Graham Jr.

    From the
    @PFF
    Draft Guide:
    "Graham looks like one of the more scheme-diverse and versatile corners in the class. He just doesn't quite have the high-end traits."

    I mean on the outside. I think Trufant or Burns will start outside this season for sure.

    Walter Football Grades

    Chicago Bears: Khalil Herbert, RB, Virginia Tech - A- Grade
    Khalil Herbert was slotted in the fourth round of my mock draft. I definitely like this value. Herbert could end up being a solid backup for David Montgomery, which is something the Bears lacked last year with Tarik Cohen injured.
    Chicago Bears: Dazz Newsome, WR, North Carolina - B Grade
    The Bears might have made this pick with trading Anthony Miller in mind. Dazz Newsome is a limited athlete, and he best projects as a replacement for Miller, who has been the subject of trade rumors. Newsome makes sense in this range.
    Chicago Bears: Thomas Graham, CB, Bears - B+ Grade
    I'm surprised the Bears waited this long for a cornerback, given that they needed two players at the position as the result of Kyle Fuller and Bryce Callahan leaving for Denver across several offseasons. I slotted Thomas Graham 40 picks prior to this, so I like the value.

    Love Graham. Guy who is always around the ball and a pest. Guys like that tend to have long successful careers. I think he'll start at NB eventually. Pace is killing it imo.

    I really feel he could’ve been a second rounder at least if he didn’t opt out in 2020.

    Amazing to me how Pace gets some of these guys so late. Herbert was the leading rusher in college football through 5 games and ended top 5 in yards and average. Crazy good value.
