Why do you keep comparing this to literal crimes? Are you under the delusion that what theyíre doing is against the law?

They don't have to lose revenue currently to make the decision that they might in the future and take steps to prevent that. The consumers get a say in the market but what they advertise for or against as well as I was getting at the advertising is part of this discussion. When you have something positive you often get free advertisement from people/companies whatever it may be with ads or talk time on a radio show or part of the local news or twitter/fb posts whatever it might be it is all part of the market.

It is just the inverse of those giving good publicity it is bad instead from some. Media does this often as well in calling out businesses they disagree with or even just based on competition some might attack other businesses. You just seem mad about one specific type of person using their influence in said market.

Fans of the teams are exactly the ones who should have a say in a product. They are the ones who buy the tickets, jerseys, etc.

Of course they do, especially in the modern environment of social media. If a company has a social media page, people are free to comment on it.

Like I said, you are super authoritarian/socialist when it comes to protecting big business. Now you want to stifle peopleís free speech to protect a company from criticism.

Youíre saying no one should get a say in a product unless they have directly purchased it? In that case, since you donít buy deadskins products, you should probably stop talking about them.

Unless youre a high school in Arizona with the majority of the schools population is Native American and the nickname to all their athletic teams is Redskins

Joey the mighty businessman apparently doesnít understand how a toxic brand can negatively influence a company.

Im using an exaggerated example to get people to understand the difference in the market working organically.

If the redskins lost revenue because of their name, that would be the market working. This wasn't that.

Except the exaggeration was so pronounced it no longer resembled anything anyone was talking about. Hereís an example: What if Dan Snyder killed all the Native Americans, then thereíd be none to be offended by the name so would you support the name then?

And they did lose revenue, they lost sponsors and marketing and even their trademark.

To be honest, Iím still getting a kick out of the guy who wanted people to boycott the NFL for Kaepernick saying itís wrong for others to do the same for the Redskins. Lol

Why cant I use the n word? Why cant my team mascot be a racist slur?

    These are strange complaints.

If I wear my Darrell Green/Art Monk/John Riggins/Sean Taylor ect Jersey in public am I racist?

Honestly I didnt have an opinion on the Chief Wahoo Logo, still dont and dont really care. If there was definitive evidence that most native americans wanted it changed, then sure I would agree it should have been changed.

Again, as I said... there were conflicting surveys that flip flopped about the team name Redskins, and nobody could really prove exactly how many or what percentage wanted it changed. Yes, I 100% agree that there were native americans that wanted it changed.

At the time of kaepernick kneeling i said i understand if the league reacts upon losing revenue. I just said the same thing regarding the Redskins. That's the market making an impact. I'd have an issue calling sponsors demanding action because of kaepernick.

Let's look at the current example with LeBron. I dont support what he did. It was foolish even if his intentions were good. If people decided not to go to nba games or buy Lakers gear because of LeBron, that would be the market working. But if some people called up sponsors of the lakers and demanded LeBron be suspended or fired, i wouldn't support that action.
