Maybe they can be combined into one decent starting QB.

2 QB system. When they need a checkdown on 3rd and long Teddy takes a snap, when they need to throw a 50 yard pass to a WR 30 yards away they'll send in Lock.

Bridgewater and Lock are not long term. Denver can still draft a quarterback this year or next. They can also go corner or trade the 9th pick.

Denver fans have to really hate Teddy. Not only does he suck, but he also costed them a top 3-5 pick when he **** the bed against them last season.

They're paying him 3M so he's probably the backup.

With the amount of cash they ate, I'm not sure they're ahead.

I think we still ate less than cutting him outright and we got something for a guy who was clearly not coming back.

The cash we were going to eat anyway. This was the best possible outcome for us with Teddy. We do not owe him anything next season. Our only other option was a post june 1st cut.
