    I'll start it off.

    Our own guys
    - Turn down the team options on Baynes and Hood, as they take up a good chunk of cap space at a combined $18 mill roughly.
    - Retain GTJ
    - I'd bring Lowry back at a reasonable cost. I don think we should offer anything more that $15 mill if he gets more than that in free agency I let him walk.
    - I'd bring both Gillespie and Birch back if they come cheap. Other wise give me the cheaper option who is also younger and has more potential - Gillespie

    Free Agent Targets
    - I like Richaun Holmes I think he would be a great fit for us at the 5. I have no clue what type of contract he is looking for but I think he would be a good target and would fit the system and culture here well.
    - Ben McLemore, I watched this guy in Houston and he is fully capable of shooting over 40% from 3 as he did last year and the year prior. When the Rockets still had a team with Harden and co, Ben was a very useful role player and I think he would be a nice piece for us off the bench. I also think he could come cheap. He is currently on the Lakers. Look out for this dude in the playoffs. He's gonna make some big shots, Im sure of it.

Those are my desire targets. I think if we let Lowry walk we would be able to afford Holms, and retain Trent Jr, and maybe add a guy like Ben McLemore. Then we would also add prospects through the draft to round out the roster.

    FVV/Flynn
    GTJ/BenMac
    OG/Yuta/
    Siakam/Boucher
    Holms/Birch/Jillespie

Then you have our first round pick who would be slotted in as well depending on who we pick and how NBA ready he is. + we have 2 second rounders who can both be prospects in development for the 905

Out of this whole list...what I would do if I were y'all:

    - Turn down the options on Baynes and Hood and let them both walk in free agency

    - Re sign Trent Jr of course

    - Let Lowry walk in free agency...END OF AN ERA IN TORONTO

    - Let Birch walk but keep Gillespie

    - Take a flyer on Hardaway Jr and Whiteside and bring back Danny Green

Then your new look Raptors squad for 21/22

    PG- VanVleet
    SG- Trent Jr
    SF- Hardaway Jr
    PF- Siakam
    C- Whiteside

    2nd unit

    PG- Flynn
    SG- Danny Green
    SF- Watanabe
    PF- Anunoby
    C- Boucher

OG needs to remain starter. Heís officially established himself as an NBA starter and one of the best defenders in the league. Great defensive tandem with FVV and Siakam.

Iíd pass on whiteside and Danny green easily. No ceiling there. They could only become albatrosses. They wonít put-play their contract value.

My approach in Fa is completely dependent on our draft pick. I donít want anything standing in the way of that pick getting play time. If we draft a big, then we will probably have a ****** big rotation again next season and thatís aok with me.

Imagine starting Hardaway Jr over OG lol...

I personally wouldn't want Hardaway Jr. Dudes never seen a shot he doesn't like. But if he came cheap I wouldn't mind him as a spark off the bench.

Yeah the eye test is all it takes to see OG contributes 1000X more to wins than hardaway could.

Or another approach to free agency if I'm you guys:

    - Let Baynes, Hood, Birch and Lowry all walk
    - Bring back Trent Jr and Gillespie I guess
    - Draft pick ideally would be Scottie Barnes for me anyway if I were your team

    - Take a flyer on Andre Drummond and Reggie Bullock

Then another new look Raptors squad for 21/22 (starting 5 and 2nd unit)

    Starting 5

    PG- VanVleet
    SG- Trent Jr
    SF- Anunoby
    PF- Siakam
    C- Drummond

    2nd unit

    PG- Flynn
    SG- Bullock
    SF- Barnes (draft pick)
    PF- Watanabe
    C- Boucher

Why does everyone want rishaun Holmes? Is it just because he is the best C on the market? Doesnít seem like a very good fit to me. I would prefer Allen - who I also donít feel is a very good fit.

Good question bro. Im not a cap pro by anymeans.

Lowry is the first domino, Then its a matter of how much we give to GTJ.

If we decline the options on Hood & Baynes we can shave off $18 mill and we will be sitting at around $81 mill. That's with out re-signing Lowry & GTJ.

And then we sorta have to guess what the cap will be set at. I don't think it will go higher, but there is a chance that it goes lower.

Lots of variables will determine that. Could have 25 million or so if we say goodbye to Lowry. Boucher has a 7 million team option that is likely to be picked up. We donít know what number our rookie scale will fall at (Top 4 is much higher than 10-12 range). Trent has cap hold on his RFA at about 5 million. He will sign much higher than that, but if they do it right, they can have the hold number against the cap this year instead of the actual salary.

The other option we donít discuss much is operating as an above cap team. Maybe our salaries and assets together to make a trade.

I think its safe to assume that ship has sailed.

I'm curious to find out more about GTJ contract cap hold. If I'm understanding you correctly, it is possible to only have his 5 million count against the salary vs what we actually sign him for? It seems less and less likely that we can retain both Lowry & GTJ other wise.

The ship has sailed on us getting that pick by default, but we have a chance to win the lottery.

    - Bring back Trent Jr, Boucher, Birch and Gillespie
    - Get rid of Baynes, Hood and Lowry
    - Take a flyer on Andre Drummond and Jeff Green

Then your 21/22 Raptors squad would look like this:

    PG- VanVleet
    SG- Trent Jr
    SF- Anunoby
    PF- Siakam
    C- Drummond

    2nd unit

    PG- Flynn
SG- Whoever your 2021 draft pick ends up being; I would draft a shooting guard
    SF- Jeff Green
    PF- Boucher
    C- Birch
