San Francisco Giants @ Philadelphia Phillies - April 19-21

    .........................

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (9-6) @ PHILADELPHIA PHILLIES (8-7)

    Citizens Bank Park

    Game 1: Monday, April 19th @ 4:05 PM

    VS.
    Kevin Gausman..........Chase Anderson

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Gausman had an odd start against the Reds on Tuesday, giving up five runs over his first two innings before settling in to retire the final 13 batters he faced. He has tossed at least six innings in each of his three starts this year.

Phillies: Anderson has allowed only five hits in his first two starts, but he has lasted only nine innings, pitching against the Mets both times. He has struck out six and walked five.

    Game 2: Tuesday, April 20th @ 4:05 PM

    VS.
    Logan Webb..........Zack Wheeler

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Webb made his first appearance out of the bullpen on Wednesday, but he now is stepping back into the rotation to replace the injured Johnny Cueto. He has never faced the Phillies.

Phillies: Since striking out 10 and allowing one hit in seven scoreless innings in his first start of the season, Wheeler is 0-2 with a 4.91 ERA. He has allowed 17 hits in those starts, coming against the Braves and Mets, respectively.

    Game 3: Wednesday, April 21st @ 10:05 AM

    VS.
    Anthony DeSclafani..........Zach Eflin

    Scouting Report:
Giants: DeSclafani has emerged as the Giants' most reliable starter thus far. He fired six innings of one-run ball against the Marlins on Friday. He is 3-2 with a 5.34 ERA over six career appearances against Philadelphia.

Phillies: Eflin came up big in Friday's win over St. Louis, allowing two runs in seven-plus innings. The Phillies needed it, coming off a 1-5 road trip. He has pitched seven innings twice in three starts.

The #Phillies are the latest team to get hit with 5 coaches and 3 players in COVID-19 protocol. No player has tested positive, however.

Well that's not good. Wouldn't be surprised to see tonight's game be PPD.

well, he was shakey there for a bit and a little luck helped but with a slim 2 run lead and this offense you can get cautious.
