GT#57: Más Consagrado Knicks (29-27) @ Dallas Mavericks (30-24): My name is Luka

Even Steven? Hardly. Not since Pat Riley splitting for Miami, Knick fans galvanized against Kristaps Porzingis who grew frustrated with the incompetent Knick Front Office and requested a trade.

    Random Thoughts:

    1. My name is Luka: Yet another buzzer beater victory in the books. No one has questioned Luka Doncic's pedigree but one wonders if he's difficult to play with. He requires the ball a lot, causing friction with his team, Kristaps Porzingis who didn't hesitate to show some frustration with Luka's 1:1 showboating that lead to the Mavs losing to the Rockets. Fortunately winning cures everything. The Mavs are playing well, 14-8 since March. They're trying to ascend to the 6th seed so they won't have to participate in the NBA's new Play-In tournament for teams #7-10.

    2. Porzingis Living his Best: Last ten games, this kid is averaging 22.0 ppg with a 0.50 FG% .38 3P% 85% FT% 10.7 rpg and 1.6 bgm. Not bad for a guy who had 2.25 months to work back from surgery. Like it or not, KP is having another good season.

    3. With the 20th Pick the Knicks select:(Hopefully) Ayo Dosunmu, a point guard with size even though I'd give up multiple first rounders, any talent not named Barrett or Randle for Terrell Suggs or Cade Cuningham.

    4. Play-in Tournament Yay or Nay (?): Personally I think 8 teams on each conference gifted with post-season ice cream is too much. The #7 and #8 seed facing elmination game is kind of a punishment. Hopefully the Knicks won't have to participate in such an absurd tack-on.

5.Free Obi: 5 min/game has been poppyc#ck. He needs more minutes to develop the muscle memory. Toppin should average 13 min/game. With Mitchell Robinson out, Obi Toppin should have options. During the Mavs game at the Garden, Porzingis was bullying everyone in the paint including Randle until Obi Toppin came in and posterized him.

Another important game. Both teams should have their A-game on.

Hoping for a strong 3 pt shooting night from Quickley and Reggie as well as a nice scoring punch from Rose. We need all hands on deck w/o Burks and his clutch buckets. Expecting big mins for RJ and Julius.

    Who guards Doncic?

A player Scott Perry was more concerned with physique than skills. Doncic is playing with so much confidence after the hitting the game winning jumper against Memphis.

Elfrid Payton who waived off the Knicks demanding to go up against Kyrie Irving 1:1 in the 4th over in Brooklyn got his ankles broke. Now, Luka who is the energizer bunny playing all game long.

Reggie Bullock? Maybe. I dunno if Bullock has the lateral quickness to stay with the Slovakian nightmare.

It's going to be a good game.

Also, KnicksfanTV Ashley can't stand "the snake" Porzingis...and I love drinking her tears.

Scott Perry never had an opportunity to draft or pass on Doncic. Nor did any Knicks FO member.

You claim to be a Knicks fan, but enjoy drinking the tears of other Knicks fans when KP does well? That's confusing.

do you watch the games? Because you are so off, Payton played the best possible defense on that play one can play, if you haven't watched Kyrie play you know he may be in the top three as far as scorers in the NBa, he broke no one's ankles on that play, sorry to ruin your agenda.

Bullock and again your missing some really good games, has guarded all the oppositions best players, Doncic is not quick he's big and crafty for PG. Bullock will get the assignment and hopefully Doncic has one of his not so productive games.

Maybe you should worry about your Dallas' teams defense, because as i saw it, less the win, Memphis had that game except for one of the luckiest shots ever and poor defense on a 1.8 second play.

just the fact that here we are 16 games to play and we are playing for 4th seed and playing Dallas with actually conversations of winning this game, who would have thought?

I'm excited for tonight, I think we will be ready. Burks out stinks but that is the NBA this year, so its next man up.

RJ needs to get out of his mini funk though.

No Mitch and no Burks and they are full strength so it won't be easy.

    I do watch the games.

I'm sorry up until the win against Memphis, Elfrid Payton had been playing horrible.

Do me a favor, take an ativan...stop with the personal baiting and attacks.

    It's silly.

Randle and RJ are gonna have to grow up quick and hit those 4th quarter shots Burks had been making. I don't think not one guy is going to replace Burks production offensively so it'll have to be a team effort. Wonder if Knox will get one last chance to save his disappointing season. With Burks out, we need shooting and points!

And we cannot have RJ scoring 7 and 8 points.
