split the 4 game series with Houston was nice, too

snapped their 11 game win streak

Mize looked great again, Skubal struck out everyone again

    walk off squeeze play

    solid weekend

edit: I didn't even mention Zack Short's first career HR!

Manning looked like he was pitching slow pitch softball last night.

Beat them twice in 6 hours, with Wily Perala and Jose Urena starting no less! It seemed like pulling teeth to beat them once the last few years. 2nd straight above .500 month for the Tigers too.

Watching Tigers baseball when they are good is a lot more fun then when they are the worst team in baseball.

watching the young dudes play well makes me think Avila may not be entirely incompetent

2 of 3 from the White Sox despite a typical Tigers 9th inning.

Manning doesn't look ready for the big leagues yet imo. His stuff doesn't seem to induce swing and misses.

I'm bummed Haase isn't a young prospect, maybe a late bloomer? 4 multi HR games is already a Tigers record, but he's already 28

also, Baddoo has been mashing his *** off. Had the crazy hot start, then slumped hard, looked like a flash in the pan, and then turned it around like a boss

and what about Schoop? also mashing like crazy!

there's some trade value there, between Schoop and Haase, gotta strike while the iron is hot

Naturally tonight Schoop is 0-3 with 3 K's lol. But yeah Schoop might have some value. Curious to see if the record continues to push towards .500, if the Tigers just hold on to what they have.

the schedule is favorable to see that happen, which is bad

I don't even know what playoff format we're going with this year but the closer we stay to the wildcard(s), the worse off we are

lots of games coming up against the rangers, twins, and orioles

I love watching them win, hell even Big Mig has kinda turned it around, but we need to unload some of these dudes and get whatever we can get

Team is definitely playing better then we all expected to start the year. Hinch has done a phenomenal job up to this point. This team could definitely finish around .500.

As bas as this sounds, I don't want a post season run this year. The kids in the rotation are going to be on pitching limits here on out and dont' need to tax the arms after last seasons abbreviated season.

watching the replay, wow Haase did it again!

edit: and then he immediately botched a play in left that ended up giving all three runs back
