Drew Smyly going on IL for Braves so he will not start today. Kyle Wright taking his place and starting today.

Cubs/Braves also wearing #42 to honor Jackie Robinson Day, which was yesterday.

Get the first 2 guys on and 3-4-5 hitters do nothing [emoji1751]

And people say these hitters are inconsistent. First 2 on, 0 outs, 0 runs scored. That’s been happening consistently since 2017.

I think we all know how this game is going to go after that 1st inning.

Rizzo swings and fouls off a pitch that nearly hits him for Ball 4, proceeds to strike out.

He’s been very disappointing this year, more than anyone else IMO.

This one feels out of reach at this point. We'd need to score at least 5 runs to win and we've scored 5+ runs only twice this season.

Cubs lead the league in pitch in the dirt strikeouts. I don't have to look it up to know it to be true.
