I agree. Imo they are moves, Odor and Bruce, that should have never been made! Ford would have been more than adequate fill in and as we saw in 2019 he can hit MLB pitching.

You gotta admire the Yankees finding a way to downgrade from Tyler Wade.

Prior to today’s game, the Yankees recalled RHP Brooks Kriske (#82) from the Alternate Site.

Hicks in the three hole again.

    Frazier on the bench.

Horrendous roster and line up construction. I can't.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

Jay Bruce is 4 for 34. Looks like DJL will be playing 1B for now. Mike Tauchman is taking early work at 1B again today and Mike Ford is eligible to return on Tuesday. It appears Bruce’s days are numbered. And Odor might not have far to go either.

Good news imo. Would rather have DJ at 2B, but he is Yanks best option until Voit return.

Agree, part of the reason I posted the Kriske blurb. I guess the need for a RHP in the pen with a -0.4 WAR and 14.73 ERA is a more pressing need at the moment.

Thanks Day. Weren't Ford, Estrada, Abreu and Kriske all optioned to Scranton back in March, none as I recall, making the opening day roster.

So the same line up that didn't get it for done for 3 years isn't getting it done again and looking stale? Shocker ...

While I dont think Boone is terrible, its obvious he doesn't get more out of his team. Look at what a difference Thibs made with the Knicks, same team, much different result. Hope they replace Boone and the manage by committee approach.

    I miss Girardi.
