Particularly in this draft. And as for the Warriors it's also possible the Wolves in the lottery and the Warriors have to wait until next year to get that pick (unprotected).

I was thinking about it and with how abysmal the Raptors have been, I bet the lottery gifts them a top pick.

Yup, lottery will b huge for them. Land #1 then also enough ppl move up to bump Rockets to #5, lookout.

Then Rockets end up with 18, 23, and 24.

Better yet, Magic could end up with pick #1 and #2.

Is it strange that it feels there's more intrigue into what will happen with the order as opposed to the players themselves?

I think it's just a weird year in that regard. There are so many teams with multiple picks this year.

    This is just my take:
I feel like this is the first time in a while you have multiple positions available at the top of the draft that can move based on who picks where.

Agreed. Magic can get two top 4 picks. Thunder can get two top 5 picks. Rockets get three picks one could be top 4 or have three late firsts. Warriors could have a heck of a top pick plus their own, or Wolves get a top 3 and more than likely squander it. Should be interesting!

So many first round picks have been traded going forward this may be the new normal where so many teams have a reasonable chance to have multiple first round picks, let alone multiple lottery picks.

It's bonkers. WNBA just had it where the same team had picks 1, 2, and 5 [emoji50]
