You're giving some things that are true , sure. But that doesn't change the fact due to defensive rule changes, defenses are harder to attack strategically.
NBA players are bigger faster stronger- watch the 90s and 80s. There were some borderline non-athletes out there that the greats were able to take advantage of.
The expansion of the NBA in led to a watered down talent pool in not only the 80s, but 90s as well.
These are all true, and at the very least cancel out the things you're saying.
It's different now.
