Red Sox called on Ryan Weber for mop-up duty vs the Blue Jays today. He's pitched 5.2 IP, given up 13 hits, 11 runs and 4 HR in his season debut.

I wonder what the MLB record is for most runs allowed by a relief pitcher in a single game.

Bryan Reynolds of the Pirates ranks in the top 10 in the NL with a .286 batting average. That's nuts. That's how low batting averages are throughout MLB this season.

Giants come back from a 7-0 deficit to win 9-8 on a Yaz grand slam in the 8th with two outs.

Dbacks have now lost 21 consecutive road games with their last win coming on April 25th, Bumgarner's no-hitter.

Padres and Dodgers have been very streaky this season. The Giants have been more consistent.

    Phils fans please chime in.

Aside from a couple instances of bullpen mismanagement, what exactly is Kapler bad at? Seems pretty solid to me so far.

I think it was a mix of just how the team was ‘underperforming’ and then his responses as to why.

Pretty sure I've seen you talk a ton of **** about Kapler's bullpen management.

I mean it wouldn't be too abnormal for him to have learned a thing or two his first go-around and try to limit making those same mistakes. I know one thing he got a lot of **** from Phillies fans for was his supposed overuse of the shift, and, same as any Manager, the bullpen usage came into question a bit.
