Dylan Cease had never batted once in the minors and tonight he stepped to the plate for the first time in his professional career and went 3-3, including a double off the wall.

Apparently he was one of the best HS hitters in GA way back then... but that's insane.

Not a good day for Judge. Five plate appearances. Five strikeouts.

Tony La Russa did not know that he could have used Jose Abreu at second base as the free runner instead of closer Liam Hendriks. Was informed of an amendment to rule by
@JRFegan. "I'm guessing you know the rules better. Now I know," he said.

Really good series between Houston and New York. That's as close as I can recall a series in May feeling like playoff baseball. All three games felt close until they weren't and one inning or play ultimately decided each game (Bregman's error in Game 1, Raley unraveling in Game 2 and Altuve's homer in Game 3).

I really hope we get to see those two teams in the playoffs this year. Those Yankees/Astros series are so nerve wracking, but man are they fun to watch.

25 games.. check out last years shortened season. He will be a good player but he will never be anything super special. These contracts are getting out of hand.

Is this the point where some PSD Dodgers fan strolls in and tells us that the Dodgers are in a rebuild season?
