Then the stupid baserunner rule takes effect.

Rules are the same for each team. Dodgers just didn't execute. The Longoria double would have scored a run, at least, maybe two, in a normal inning. Dodgers went 123.

    Just take the L

    What a sequence of events.
    Great game.

I hate it even when we win. It feels like an unearned victory.

Dubon copies Bauer's "sword in to the sheath" move after hitting a two run bomb off Kershaw in the first. Giants up 3-0, looking to get a series win.

I'll take 3 out of 4 on the road against any team at any time....especially vs. the Dodgers.

I don't like the rule either, but I feel they can compromise and stick a runner on second, say after the 12th inning.
My compromise would be to let the offensive team in extra innings have the option of starting with an intentional walk. If a slugger leads off, they might decline. But if they take the walk, the manager has to choose: sacrifice, steal, hit & run, or hit away. A lot more interesting than sitting back to see if someone hits a guy in from 2B.

Arizona cannot catch a break. With the Braves/Mets rainout Sunday night, the Braves miss facing de Grom and the D-Backs face him instead.

Makes up for splitting the series with the Pirates a couple weeks ago.

Honestly wish Jeffy was around still. This series we just had with STL was really intense and fun.
Brewers coming for you guys. Such an easy schedule coming up. Brewers have two series with teams above .500 from now until ASB (Cubs and Mets)

7 inning DH rule definitely needs to go and make it the 13th and later for the extra innings rule.
