Yup. I used the below link to find the shifting data. It doesnít include ERA so I just compared it to the team stats. Those are easy to find.

This baseball savant website is really awesome. What I found interesting is that the Braves only shifts 29.5% of the times vs LHH which is well below average. The wOBA league average against LHH is .310 while the Braves face a .360 wOBA against LHH. The top 10 in wOBA against LHH shift 50+% of the time when facing a LHH, except only the Marlins ranked 5th and Brewers 2nd are below 50%. So I would say that if you shift against LHH you probably have a better chance at preventing runners.

Basically Tice for Edwards, which is probably a good exchange for ATL.

I donít know if youíve noticed that Ozunaís ďstir/mix it upĒ celebration is gone now when the fellas reach base. I donít see him coming back to a braves uniform...players donít support him.

The bullpen issues are just baffling for us. Newcomb canít throw a strike still. I keep hoping he will turn a corner but itís just not happening. Dude sucks. Dayton is worse, at least Newcomb has some upside.

Gotta at least take one from LA this weekend.

Iím not surprised. Itís not just an allegation of DV, this is full on strangulation and beating with a cast in front of the police. They shouldnít support him right now.

2021 Atlanta Braves Regular Season Thread

Iím wondering if we should change our lineup to have Ozzie hitting second again. Something like:

    Acuna
    Albies
    Freeman
    Riley
    Swanson
    Heredia
    Contreras
    Almonte
    Pitcher

Also looks like we staked Smyly an early 2-0 lead that he is about to squander

Shane Greene gave up the lead on a homer to Realmuto and then some weakly hit balls that found the grass (maybe a shift would have helped in those situations).

For the homer to Realmuto, though, Greene was really screwed by the umpire. See this:

Newcomb has a really hard time finding the strike zone. I sure wish he could find some command because he could be so good

Good offensive inning from us to take the lead back.

Where is everyone this year? Lol. It seems like nobody is posting anymore.

Maybe PSD has finally bit the dust. Are you guys using Reddit or what?

I hate to say it but PSD is on life support. there are some sections that are still thriving for the most part but, it is definitely not like it used to be.
