    fun fact:
our 7th round pick that year, defenseman wyatt kalynuk, has played 13 games for CHI this year, scoring 3 goals and 6 points.
That was this year ... last year he put up 33 points in 34 games; 14 goals.

Is there a league rule where the flyers are not allowed to score on an odd man rush?

only 10 days left until this season is over.

i wonder how many more 10+ loss streaks this team can help break.

None given that we only have Pitts, Wsh, and NJD (who are now on a 3 game winning streak). I'd love to finish on an 8 game losing streak of our own to be honest. Hopefully we can move up another couple spots and get to #12 draft pick...maybe get lucky in the lottery again. lol Right now, I think we'd pick 14th since they would give Seattle a top pick this year too.

Also, FWIW I think this would be a good year to trade down in the draft and try to gain additional top picks for next year. You are more likely to hit on a later pick this year since there isn't as large of a recent sample size for a lot of these prospects. Maybe you grab a teams second this year and their next 1st or so to help them rebuild quicker or something, I dont know, but to me, this is the year for those kinds of moves.

Might as well let York and Zamula play and put Sandstrom in net.

few things are more flyers than winning some meaningless games at the end of a lost season.

Encouraging game from Allison and York; but weve all seen this before. Everything has been encouraging from the kids until the last 2 season. Provorov was awful last night.

Im holding on being bullish on anything related to this team until they actually show me for a whole season.

Also, is Nolan Patrick still on this team? Because he is invisible on the ice.
