San Francisco Giants @ Seattle Mariners - April 1-3

    .........................

SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS @ SEATTLE MARINERS

    T-MOBILE PARK

    Game 1: Thursday, April 1st @ 7:10 PM

    VS.
    Kevin Gausman..........Marco Gonzales

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Gausman will make his second career Opening Day start and first for the Giants. He started the Orioles' 2017 opener and fired 5 1/3 innings of two-run ball in Baltimore's 3-2 win over the Tigers.

Mariners: The left-hander will take the hill on Opening Day for the third year in a row, putting him in some rare Mariners company -- only Félix Hernández, Randy Johnson and Jamie Moyer started more regular-season openers.

    Game 2: Friday, April 2nd @ 7:10 PM

    VS.
    Johnny Cueto..........Yusei Kikuchi

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Cueto had an uneven spring, logging a 9.82 ERA over three Cactus League starts. The 35-year-old veteran is 2-1 with a 2.41 ERA over three career starts against the Mariners.

Mariners: Kikuchi was pushed up after the Mariners decided to delay James Paxton until the second series. The decision also lined up the Japanese lefty to pitch on his regular schedule after he last pitched in a “B” game on Saturday in Arizona.

    Game 3: Saturday, April 3rd @ 6:10 PM

    VS.
    Logan Webb..........Chris Flexen

    Scouting Report:
Giants: Webb dazzled this spring, allowing only one run over 17 innings (0.53 ERA) in five starts during exhibition play. The 24-year-old faced the Mariners on Sept. 8 last year, giving up five runs over five innings and coming away with a no-decision.

Mariners: The Mariners will get their first regular-season look at the 26-year-old Flexen, who spent last season pitching in Korea. He was mostly solid in spring, particularly with his secondary pitches.

I def made sure to grab him. For some reason he seems completely off everyone's radar.

He's an excellent 5th OF type. I guess people are just weary of the platoon and the fact he misses 80 games a year.
