    Indiana Pacers all-time leading scorers

Rarely is an NBA team's history so thoroughly dominated by a single player as the Indiana Pacers have been by Reggie Miller. Between the ABA and the NBA, the Pacers have been in existence for 43 seasons with Reggie Miller on board for 18 of them. The top five scorers in Indiana Pacers history are easily led by Miller who has scored nearly twice as many points as his nearest competitor.

    Reggie Miller: 25,279 points

The Indiana Pacers all-time leading scorer is sharpshooter Reggie Miller. Miller spent 18 seasons with the Pacers from 1987 to 2005 as one of the greatest marksmen in basketball history. He holds the NBA record for three point baskets with 2,560 on a .395 percentage. Miller put together a 12-year stretch of at least 18 points per game including six over 20. His career high season came in 1989-90 when he scored 24.6 points on .514 shooting. Reggie Miller scored every one of his points in a Pacers' uniform and holds the 14th highest total in the NBA.

    Rik Smits: 12,871 points

Indiana's starting center from 1988 to 2000, Rik Smits ranks second among the Indiana Pacers all-time leading scorers. Smits was rarely a high volume scorer, but he was an effective second scorer to Reggie Miller and his lengthy tenure with the franchise helped him climb the charts. He scored in double-digits in all 12 seasons of his career, including a career high of 18.5 points per game in the 1995-96 season. Smits was a solid interior scorer with an effective jump shot, scoring 14.8 points per game for his career.

    Billy Knight: 10,780 points

Swingman Billy Knight had a great start to his career with three years in Indiana and became one of the Pacers all-time leading scorers. In his second professional season, Knight averaged 28 points and ten rebounds per game to earn a spot in the 1976 ABA All-Star Game. In the following season, he made his only NBA All-Star team with another great scoring season of more than 26 points per game. He returned to the Pacers for a second stint from 1979 to 1983 in a secondary role, averaging between 12 and 18 points in each season.

    Roger Brown: 10,058 points

Former ABA great Roger Brown ranks fourth among Indiana Pacers all-time leading scorers. Brown was a leader for the Pacers' three ABA Championships in the 1970s. A member of the franchise from 1967 to 1975, Brown averaged 18 points per game in Indiana including three seasons of better than 20 points per game. The four-time All-Star ranks tenth on the ABA's all-time leading scorers list.

    Jermaine O'Neal: 9,580 points

Center Jermaine O'Neal broke out as a player when he was traded to Indiana and he became one of the Pacers all-time leading scorers. Drafted out of high school by the Blazers in 1996, O'Neal spent his first few years getting acclimated to NBA play before averaging 13 points per game in his first year with the Pacers. He followed it with six straight seasons over 19 points per game, making the All-Star team in each of them. Jermaine O'Neal is a skilled interior and mid-range scorer who finished his Pacers career with averages of 18.6 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. He has since spent time with the Raptors, Heat, and Celtics.

Yeah Granger could break into the top 3 maybe even 2nd if he stays with us, but I don't think he will. Reggie's record will stand until we have one of the best players in the league, which will probably be picked up in the draft at some point (fingers crossed).
