If overuse was the argument, Romano would not have been warmed up or still brought into the 8th when the damage was done and it was 5-5 from 5-1. This was a blatant example of a green manager who was out coached by the opposition.

I agree. I do see the point that he hasn't had much to work with, and he does get a bit of a pass for that. But his bullpen management is terrible.

7-2 in the last 9 against teams we're supposed to beat up. Been a good 10 days.

He's not doing bad atm and management said they have a hard time trading prospects. Otherwise of they trade him for controllable pitching then Id be fine with it.

I think he is a good candidate to get moved. But as you mention, we'd have to be getting controllable pitching in return. We'll definitely need pitching help for the next few years.

I just don't see Groshans as the long-term solution at 3B. Not doing bad isn't really good enough. He's got to be knocking the snot out of baseballs to be a serious prospect.

Let's hope other teams' front offices disagree with me.

Id probably give him until the end of the year to start looking to trade him. He was injured in 2019 after a good start and didnt play 2020.

Hes slowed down recently but I dont think we need to seek trades for him. If we can get a good deal I would part with him though.

This cannot be said enough. Even of the guys knocking the snot out of Minor League balls, only a tiny fraction of them have what it takes for the Majors. Anyone who isnít on a war path should be shopped. We donít have holes in the lineup to ďgive them a shot and see what they can doĒ.

Already pissed that my 2017 Pearson draft prospect card is quickly losing all value. Donít need that happening IRL to our valued specs while weíre trying to win.

Looks like we are currently hanging or hopes on Danner or Adams to restore some value from that draft. Atkins really seems to have punted that entire draft while having 2 1sts and his own scouting staff in place for the first time. Itís a bad thing for a rebuild when you get absolutely no value from an entire draft. Could have at least traded some of the guys while they still had value.

Man, I have enough Daniel Norris and Aaron Sanchez rookie/prospect cards to fill a box. Lol.

    Depression.

Iím getting around to my baseball cards tonight after doing my basketball cards last night (found a Giannis RC that I had no idea I had $$$). Cant wait to see what my Tatis RC is worth right now. Vlad too, but his stock is just beginning to rise. Vlads RC will be worth a lot more by the offseason.

I bought the full set for around 80$, mostly for the Vlad RC. Gotta check if there is a Bo in there too.

Iím guessing the Tatis is worth around $600 or more rn.

Giannis worth about $400, up from 8$ when I first pulled it.
