Romano in. Looks like he'll be used to match up to the best hitters and Merryweather is the closer.

Tough loss. Merryweather went 2 innings so probably not available tomorrow.

Sucks when your bullpen give you so many solid innings and you just can't muster another run.

I wonder who takes his place? Romano didn't look too great last night but I assume he'd be the one to take over?

    That Davis pickoff was unfortunate.

    What the hell...

David Phelps will serve as an opener Friday in the Blue Jays' game versus the Angels.

Thought we had more arms than this, is Zeuch missing a start or coming in after Phelps?

So far the opp BA for Roark (.400) Stripling (.342) and Chatwood (.364) could win some batting titles, just not games for us.

Also, who would have thought at this point of the season, Jansen would have more hits, a higher BA, OBP, OPS than Kirk or Tellez (or both combined).

Lastly, might be time to re-order our batting line up Bichette (9), Biggio (9) Semien (7) and Teo (14) have struck out at a higher rate than usual with drawing fewer walks.

The BO I'd like to see tried today or until Springer joins us

    3B Biggio
    SS Bichette
    1B Vladdy
    CF Grich
    2B Semien
    RF Teo
    LF LGJ
DH Panik (or Rowdy if he wakes up)
    C Jansen

I had us penciled in winning the Rangers and A's series and dropping the Yankees. Let's turn it around. Go Jays Go.

No idea but will put this down to not having Hatch and Ray

Stripling might last the season in the rotation - he has a decent 4 pitch mix.

IMO, they're treating Tellez like a bench player and he performs that way. He can be a starter on many teams. Kirk I'm not really surprised - it will take a while for him to adjust.

I like Bo in the 2 hole as well but we have Semien so gotta find a spot for him. What's the lineup going to look like when Springer gets back? can't move Vlady down to 6th - makes no sense

Why on earth do you sit Bo today after his big game yesterday? Let's let him cool off on the bench.
