LGJ picking it up since his bad start. Im starting to have the same concerns about him as I did about Teo (about splits being streaky and not consistent over a full year).

Our 5 - 9 Hitters had 15 hits tonite how crazy is that? Our top 7 have an OPS above .800, Grich with 3 hits in the 8 hole, Valera at 9 had 3 hits, and ha s a .275 average. That is a filthy lineup. 17 hits against the Rays is pretty special no matter who they pitch.

I donít think so. I think it was just a slump. The guy can hit.

Fun fact, the jays are 15 - 2 in their last 17 games. That's an .882 winning percentage. That's how you get to the playoffs.

That's just silly talk, I have to ask, are you trolling? .224/.572 April, .267/.678 May. 302/.873 June .235/.683 July .316/.868 August, .435/1.422 Sept. He had a terrible first month and got it going after that. think about it, we have anumber 7 hitter slashing .287/.808 with 19 hr's and 80 rbi's great numbers. We've also got 22 hrs and 81 rbi's in our number 8 hitter. You also saw how wrong you were about Teo.

He has a 710 OPS in the 1st half and 972 in the 2nd half. Not sure how saying that is streaky is trolling. I didnt say he was a bad player. I said I had concerns about his sustainability to do it over a full year because well, LGJ unfortunately hasnt posted those numbers over a full year.

With regards to Teo, not sure how relevant that is. I had my concerns about Teo posting numbers over a full year (which he had never done before) and he delivered so I believe now. I would like LGJ to post it over a full year for me to have more comfort over his production.

Which of anything I said was unreasonable or trolling?

This made me think about it. Given the amount of games (practically 50-50), didnt think it was fair to say that it was just somehow a slump.

Yeah but at the same time y'all also have to depend on the Yankees and Red Sox to lose games

You missed the part where we sweep the Rays twice and the Yankees a final time .

Growing pains. Long term it might help keep his arbitration down.

There was only 1 path to the playoffs for this team. An improbable path that had a very small percentage of working. And theyíre ****ing doing it.
