Ross was brought in for this very reason.

Fan favorite to help ease the pain of watching a terrible product.

Great approach guys. Barely swing at half of the pitches in the zone.

So sick of their passive ******** being touted as some advanced game of pass the baton. Swing at ****ing strikes.

Keep in mind 4 teams didn't play.

I hate the "work the count" mentality. If a pitcher is throwing balls, obviously don't swing. If it's a strike, swing! Not swinging for the sake of running up his pitch count is insanity. Maybe there's some kind of new metric that claims it easier to hit from behind in the count.

Yeah, there’s like a -52.7% chance that Ross will be canned after one week.

They showed a stat yesterday that the cubs led baseball with over 50% of their plate appearances, their hitters had 2 strike in their AB

That's pathetic! They used to tell us little league to wait for a strike. They absolutely need a different approach. This one is terrible

Nah man, we should continue to always wait for one specific pitch every at-bat. Never swing at anything other than the one specific pitch in the one specific location. Otherwise, how are you going to launch massive dingers!

Last year we were 29th out of 30 teams in z-swing%. You could see Javy seemed to change his approach last year too, taking more strikes. Team not swinging at literally half the strikes yesterday is pretty insane.

We don't know what exactly they're trying to do: are they guess-hitting and just letting pitches they guess wrong on go for strikes? Are they just trying to go deeper into counts? Whatever they're doing isn't working. Go look at tape from 2016 or whatever and do that lol.

For what it’s worth, Pritzker has stated that the Cubs and the city of Chicago are ready to host if they are a nominee.

    So maybe there’s a chance?

Hope Georgia told MLB to "Pound Sand!"
