It's not an "exception." The constitution applies differently to minors

Laws impacting voting are subject to strict scrutiny, and therefore (generally) unconstitutional.

Who knows what is really going on . We read reports this was the most secure election in our nations history . They said all the mail in left a paper trail that never existed . But they are all liars . If you believe 1 word that comes out of their mouths .. Biden , Trump and everybody in between you honestly need your head examined .

Nope not true at all. Do minors not have the freedom of speech? They do.

Laws impacting voting can be implemented by states as long as they do not violate the constitution- which explicitly states citizens have the right to vote. Making a citizen prove they are in fact a citizen is not a violation of the constitution. It would only be a violation if a citizen gave their ID as proof of citizenship and were then denied the right to vote

I guess this thread was getting too "real" for the MLB forum to continue being it's home.

Wherever this thread's been moved to and no matter what the fascist people think, MLB did the right thing moving the game out of Atlanta. In Colorado, people actually have the right to vote. In Georgia, not so much.

If you would do what you suggest others should do, you wouldn't have posted this post. Illinois voting regulation isn't like Florida either. Voters are very aware of their state voting regulation and can compare them to Florida, easily. Well, not for you it seems.

the issue was too much for them, so they threw it to more capable posters to figure it out.

I've learned them. In Colorado voting is a right. In Georgia voting is a privilege. It's not complicated. It comes down to that. If you want voting to be a privilege, you're a fascist.

You've learned them huh? Give a list of the specific components in CO's laws that make them better than GA's.

Actually heís 100% correct in this instance. Minors cannot purchase firearms despite a constitutional right to do so. Minors cannot even vote despite a constitutional right to do so. Minors cannot get married except with permission, they must legally emancipate from their parents if they want to leave, etc.

Laws impacting minors are 100% different than for laws impacting adults. Thereís a reason we have age of consent laws instead of if a child decides itís OK, thatís their constitutional freedom...
