Not a fan of that return for Houston.

The Harden return has to look weaker in hindsight after this move, yes?

Yep. Houston got broken arm and arm breaker. Oh, and a swap. Better than nothing, I guess.

LeVert clearly had better value as a younger non-expiring player. I don't know what they were thinking.

Pat is a boss! Wonder where Dipo plays. At PG? If Miami gets LMA from the buy out market they're surely a much stronger team.

Starters: Oladipo / Robinson / Butler / Bam / LMA?
Bench: Dragić / Nunn / Herro / Bjelica

That's a very deep team if it happens.

Lowry stays. Toronto couldíve gotten *something* for him. Not liking the return on Oladipo but at least he didnít walk for nothing (or stayed at a crazy price).

    Lets see:
Dante Exum, Rodions Kurucs, Avery Bradley, Kelly Olynyk, 2022/2024/2026 1sts
    OR
    Ben Simmons, 2022/2024 1st

How did the Rockets manage to **** up this trade so royally?

Honestly Houston should just buyout Wall now. Them thinking they're going to redeem his value and flip him later, they're crazy.

yeah I don't get why they didn't want the nets players over the garbage they got, but you can't just ignore swaps and Ben would be pretty pissed playing on that team.

I'd bump Robinson to the bench or play a very switchy defense on the smaller side with Dragić/Dipo/Robinson/Butler/Bam

So basically they traded Harden for 3 guaranteed picks and 3 maybe picks as opposed to an All-Star with DPOY potential.

Solid pick up for the Heat. They didnít give up much and kept Robinson and Herro. Thatís a win in its own.

The rockets didnít have much leverage here I think we just kinda took what we got which is not great for us. But itís all good because he was gonna leave in a few months anyways.

Usually thereís a bidding war for a player but this seems more like a bidding war for a taker.

Toronto and Houston realized it was basically down to Miami and Miami knew it. Oladipo and Lowry are walking in the off-season if they stay with their teams and Riley knew he could low ball them, especially since Tor and Hou waited too long. Take the scraps Riley was offering or lose your guy for nothing.

I bet Fertitta was telling Stone to hold out until the last minute and then realized a better deal was not coming so take whatever was on the table. I hate Fertitta.

I bet Riley couldíve had Lowry, too, if he didnít get Ariza last week. Iguadala and Leonard plus maybe Robinson couldíve worked out (I think) money wise for Lowry.
