    N. Martin is a good pass blocker. In his four years as a starter he never gave up more than two sacks in a single season.

If Hudson wanted out itís less that they cut/traded him cause if James. They could just be spinning it that they obliged him because theyíre high on the backup and heís cheaper.

Good teams donít need all pro Cís they need coaches who get them in winning blocking situations for their skill set

He's still a young player. He may yet develop into a good run blocker.

We just got a guy who never misses games , comes pretty cheap and is a solid pass blocker. You can have a quality offensive line at 1/10 what we were paying for ours the past few years. Happy to see us over haul it and get more value with our money. I am assuming he can also transition to Guard if needed (most centers actually overperform when moved to guard)

He'll be fine. R. Hudson had a season, early in his career, where he allowed five sacks. This player has never come close to that.

Nothing yet on the contract details which is a little weird since he has already signed his contract. Means the contract is already official but no one has reported the details yet. Will come soon enough Im sure.

Well according to Over the cap Nick Martin signed a 1 year 1.75M contract. 1M base. 250 signing bonus and a 500k other bonus(this one doesn't appear to have triggered yet though).

Don't forget Rodney Hudson was drafted by the Chiefs in 2011. He had a longer time to develop. One year he gave up five sacks. Something that Nick Martin has never allowed
