and what happen on Jan.6th was a simple protest. A tour group got upset over gift bags and... well the left is just blowing it out of portion.

"I can still see the smoke from those BLM protests, excuse me Orange man, riots from my back yard in Canada."

And the left still refuses to acknowledge BLM's hate.

Funny how all of a sudden we have problems with jail conditions now that the J6 rioters are in jail. It’s the same situation how crack and drugs were a failure of black people and other minorities. But we allegedly have an epidemic once white people started being afflicted by it. They, just like the J6 folks, are seen as victims but minorities are considered subhuman for similar behavior.

    largely yes.

you know the number of people rioting compared to protesting wasn't even close, right?

it should be fine to accept there was rioting and that it was definitely wrong, but don't ignore that there were a lot more people protesting.

It’s not an “either/or”. It’s an “and”. That is to say that it was not either a protest or an insurrection; it was a protest and an insurrection. Separate entities. The protest part may be acceptable. Bit the separate insurrection is not, and nothing about the former exonerates the latter.

Don't make that distinction when it comes to BLM protest that erupts into a riot.

a problem is there are millions of America that think it was just a riot, just an insurrection, that there was no protesting. this has been the narrative from media that has used this in their anti Trump political agenda.

there was also a rally not long ago in defense of those arrested from the Capitol riot. a rally is also a legal protest, yet there were people with MSNBC calling anyone at this rally a domestic terrorist, before the rally even took place. that is ********.

    I agree with Special.

It's like, why does no one talk about how JFK waved to all those people in Dallas and how excited they were to see him? It's all "assassination this" and "shot in the head that," but he did a lot of other things besides being assassinated that day and no one ever talks about it!

Every person that went into the capitol is an insurrectionist. If they went and followed someone who broke down a window or door, they are an insurrectionist.

Really? Using that logic, every person that attends a rally that turns into a riot is guilty of rioting in your mind then. Is rioting a felony or misdemeanor?

Going into a federal building you're not being allowed into =/= attending a rally.

    Obviously.

They went in through broken doors and windows. This isn't that hard to understand.

the first amendment covers the right of the people to peaceably assemble, it doesn't cover people who destroy barricades, break down doors, break into offices, threaten officials.
