    Yuck. Ugly game all around.

Subban gives up too many damn rebounds that lead to wide open goals. He needs to clean that up

Two straight ugly losses. They will need to bounce back from last night vs. Dallas. They looked like a young team last night. Hopefully, they can get back on the horse and get a W tomorrow. Games like this can be of value to build a young team if they bounce back. Mixed results over the past 5 in some games we're seeing the potential in others we're seeing youth.

Good bounce back win. The game showed a bit of the character of this team. Really good sign to get a W after an ugly loss. This team is really beginning to show they are not going anywhere and very well could sneak into the 4 spot or atleast compete for it.

Some of the youth of this team has shown, but really the pros seem to be outweighing the cons. A few more tough bouts a head should be interesting to see how they play.

The Hawks blow way too many games when up by multiple goals.

Feels like itís going a bit downhill since they blew that 3-0 lead vs TB in the last game of that 3-game ďseriesĒ

With the way the team has played lately, I donít think they should be buyers at the deadline.

Theyíre slowly slipping away the comfortable lead they had on the final playoff spot

I would agree, The only move they should consider making is either flipping a veteran like maybe Soderberg for picks for example, or maybe if they can find the right future asset. No reason for them to shop for rental players, the experience that can be gained by some of the lower line players will be invaluable in developing some of them as serviceable role players at the NHL level.

Early takes from this month. Some of the feel-good stories have simmered down, but they are still well within striking distance of a bubble team. They may have struggled, but the other teams now that the standings are evening out had us really in a spot most still didn't have them in. Really has been a good evaluation month of how they can survive a stretch like this. Some good, some bad, and it was to be expected. 4 more bouts left this month, it would be really good for their chances to walk away with another 4 points, but as the dust clears they are firmly in the race for that last playoff spot. With 3-4 points they will be in a spot to control their own destiny with half of their remaining games will be head-to-head matchups against the three teams they're trying to hold off. 7 more against Detroit and a Carolina team we've been competitive against.

Looking at the last stretch of the month it's obvious unless there is some historic collapse the top 3 of the division is pretty much set. We're now sitting tied for the 4th spot in the division prior to tonight's game. I'm curious about everyone's opinions thoughts on who will be the hardest team to fend off.

Nashville is tied with us, Colombus is 3 points behind, and Dallas could spice things up with 4 games behind and 31 points. Dallas has 10 games against the top 3, Colombus has 11 games remaining against the top 3 teams, Nashville has 8 games remaining vs the top 3, and we have 9 remaining vs top 3. Obviously, they're not guaranteed to lose to those teams. But overall it looks as we and Nashville are in the best spots to control their own destiny.

Blackhawks have once again acquired a familiar face:

Blackhawks acquire Vinnie Hinostroza from Panthers for minor leaguer Brad Morrison
