And then you have rebounding/boxing out. Noel is good no doubt but Mitch is the complete package on defense. Noel is really a shot blocking specialist who is good at icing screens and good team defender. Mitch is a monster and his size puts him on another level compared to Noel. Both guys are pretty damn impactful though.

Opponents are shooting 47.6% within 6ft when Noel is guarding them while opponents are shooting 56.3% within 6ft on Mitch. Opponents usually have a 61% FG% shooting within 6ft. Noel’s spread (-13.4%) has been elite and a big reason why our defense is best in the NBA. We are 6-2 now with Noel in the starting lineup.

It’s ridiculous. What did IQ do this time? Make too many?
I think he’s trying to allow them to continue to build chemistry. Rose hasn’t been here a month yet and he’s about to lock down the starting role for the rest of the season.
He needs as much time with the team on the court as possible

Im as big a quick fan as there is, but thibs is making a huge difference here.

This season isn't about Quickly, its about the team, thibs and his staff are developing quickly just fine.

4th place matters more than a few more minutes for rookies, stop that nonsense. We in f'in 4th place!

I would not be surprised one bit if that would be his response. “We’re not getting any practice with these back to backs”

He’s fine. He doesn’t need it.
