    Dennis Smith Jr.

I have looked at the box scores of the last 3 games of the Pistons :

    Feb 23 18 minutes- 14 points- 6-9 FG- 1 assist

    Feb 24 26 minutes- 11 points -5-12 FG -7 assists

    Feb 26 27 Minutes -17 points -7-13 FG- 6 assists

He is 23 years old . Did we give up on him too soon ?

No. He needs the ball to be effective and he isn’t effective with the ball.

We’re not doing this. DSJ was and is awful. Putting up numbers on a bad team is meaningless.

Honestly probably but thibs wasn't the right coach for him

Kenny Atkinson would've turned him into a legit player

Guys like DSJ, Ntilikina and Knox will put string of games together where they look decent but it's few and far between. Overall they are end of the bench players.

I've seen this before with him and I'm not getting fooled. Don't be the least surprised tonight when he's 1-8, 2 points and gets roasted by TJ McConnell.

right now the kid always had talent but his head is what worries most.

I think having Rose here helps IQ which DSJ did nothing for, so the trade as is was a good one imo.

I'll keep saying this about both DSJ and Frank a change of atmosphere and the right situation for both of them could really help their careers. Because in NY they were and are going nowhere.

But i'll say this when I saw this last night, if this was that other guy holy cow would this forum exploded lol

I agree with the first part but besides the fair weather fan we all saw dsj doing that it's his shooting and defense that would make me regret trading him

His defense this year was no problem, that I will say and what I saw last night he still is playing well on that side.

funny reading some Pistons fans are excited? Go figure. No matter what he was not made for NY.
