Lol I seriously wanna know who ever called him Simmons or Magic on here. From day 1 my projection for him was glue guy who helps you win... initially I wanted him to be more of a PG since we’ve desperately needed one forever but secondary playmaker/ball handler as off guard is fine for him, he has size and is switchable.
The thing with the Knicks FO and many fans is we give up on prospects so young and realistically many of these kids take time to develop. Part of building a winning culture and a franchise that big free agents want to come to is loyalty, and nurturing/developing growth instead of being a constant turnstile. Think of any company you’ve worked for in your life - when the place has high turnover/constant firings/quitting etc its toxic. Fixing this franchise is going to require a holistic approach and hopefully we’re finally seeing the beginnings of that.
