Big Show Paul Wight signed with AEW. https://www.ringsidenews.com/2021/02...aul-wight/amp/
This move to me is like Sting; if this was 10-12 years ago, great. Now, who cares?

AEW needs to use him sparingly as there are very few options for him to feud with.
Screw sabermetics.
this is going to be similar to Sting as now we are going to get the "first time in 22 years Paul Wight is returning to TNT" I don't know how I feel about this, in 1 way it will give AEW a famous name, Big Show still has some marketability with wrestling fans and a little bit of notability with non-wrestling fans because he has moved a bit to acting (he currently has a TV show on netflix, watched some of it and it isn't bad, can tell it is more for younger viewers) its also a limited schedule compared to WWE so it should be easier on him.
We are going to get Big Show in the, n.W.o homage, Bullet Club.
Screw sabermetics.
Isn’t his role now a color commentator?
He doesn't really have much to offer, but I get why AEW did it. It is a big name. He is going to be awful on commentary though.

Has he ever done commentary before? I wonder why that role.Originally Posted by Dmac

Is "The Giant" even trademarked?

I believe The Giant is trademarked.
They'll probably call him "Go-Big Show"
