What do you like most about being a Yankee fan?

I like the winning history and the uniforms are very nice too!
'Real' Yankee fans tell the truth about the team whether it is nice or not.

"Well, that kind of puts a damper on even a Yankee win."
-- Yankees announcer Phil Rizzuto after reading a bulletin that Pope Paul VI had died

I like the winning tradition, as well, but what I really like is the childlike joy I experience when I watch them play and perform well, when an AB by a certain player or a start or a relief appearance is must see television. Mostly, I like my lifelong memories and the continuity of making more memories each year like a Yankeeography in my mind.

My dad wanted to name me Mickey and I grew up in a YANKEES household. I was actually there when Reggie hit the 3 home runs! Yeah they were nose bleed seats and I couldn't talk for about a week afterwards but it was my first time seeing one of my teams win the big one! I've been blessed enough to see them win 7 world series in my life time, and even when we didn't win it all( Chambliss HR against KC in 76,,Boone HR against sox) no other team has given me such joy! BTW anyone wanna guess what my ticket cost me for game 6 in 77? My only hint is I don't think you could get a beer for that price now
