Opening Day! Cardinals at Reds April 1-4

I'm on a newer laptop so I don't have my HTML format gamethread thing. I'll try to find it later.

Thursday, April 1, 3:10 PM CT

    Jack Flaherty
Flaherty will be making his second straight Opening Day start after twirling seven solid innings against the Pirates to open 2020. He’s coming off a tough ‘20, one rife with adversity and build-up from a midseason pause, but he rebounded to end the year strong in the NL Wild Card Series.
    vs.

    Luis Castillo
Castillo is making his second Opening Day start and first since 2019. He was 4-1 with a 2.20 ERA in his final five starts last season. That included against the Cardinals on Sept. 11 at Busch Stadium. He threw a two-hit complete game for a 3-1 victory.
Saturday, April 3, 3:10 PM CT

    Adam Wainwright
The Cardinals' ageless wonder looked in the spring like the frontline starter the club hopes he can be, coming off a 2020 season in which he led St. Louis in starts (10) with a 3.15 ERA. Wainwright's turn vs. the Reds will be a precursor to the home opener.
    vs.

    Tyler Mahle
With a 3.59 ERA in 10 games (nine starts) last season, Mahle finally established himself after some inconsistent seasons in 2018 and ’19. But he was 0-1 with a 6.39 ERA in three starts against St. Louis. Only one of those games lasted more than three innings.
Sunday, April 4, 12:10 PM CT

    Carlos Martinez
Back in the rotation, Martínez will look to put a disappointing 2020 season behind him. The two-time All-Star looked solid at points this spring, trying to get back to the sinker that made him an elite starter from '15 through the first half of '18.
    vs.

A fair amount of preseason projections don't have the Cardinals winning the division or making the playoffs so lets prove those chuckleheads wrong.

Showing the power today. Also some solid abs from Goldy, Arenado, and DeJong going the other way on key hits.

    O'Neill just smoked one.

    Now there's a fight. I don't think they're social distancing.
