I love baseball. I'm currently pretty salty though cause i don't have a way to watch games. My cable provider doesn't have FSN midwest, I'm blacked out for MLBtv, and then Hulu + and Youtube TV got rid of it too. Got to love it!!

We switched from DISH to DirecTV a long time ago when DISH got rid of FSN.

Luckily I live near Chicago so I can see everything minus when they play the Cubs or White Sox. These black out restrictions are outrageous. I remember when MLB TV first started that if you were in market you could still watch the away feed, but that went away along time ago.

its pretty ridiculous how many people this blackout restriction crap screws over. I'm still hoping a new deal is figured out with Hulu or Youtube by the time the season starts. We shall see!

Seems like Nolan Gorman is getting a lot of work in at 2B already. I doubt we see him much in 2021, but if he spent a year in AAA at 2B, plugging him into the big league lineup in 2022 would be huge

With Nolan Arenado on board, hopefully for the remainder of the contract, might as well give him some exposure to 2b and maybe add LF and RF to the mix as well. Carpenter will be off the books after this season so maybe Gorman can fill his role in 2022. God forbid if Arenado walks in the next two seasons you have someone ready to fill in.

Main thing is that we need to get on base for the middle of the order and bounce backs from DeJong etc. Need Edman and Carlson to set the table for the middle of the order. Interesting to see if Carlson slots in the two hole or the drop him to 5 or 6.

Pretty sure we rock this lineup to start the season. Sprinkle in Dean, Thomas, and Williams in there for CF and LF.

    Edman 2b
    Carlson RF
    Goldy 1b
    Arenado 3b
    DeJong SS
    Molina C
    O'Neill LF
    Bader CF
    SP

Austin Dean is going to have a break out year.

My concern is that outside of Carlson, there is going to be a carousel of OF players where no one really gets hot to secure a position. For me O'Neill really needs to show his worth with the bat this year. We know what we have with Bader. If everyone else hits we can play his glove in the OF.

So really... we only need one of the last three to actually hit. Carlson is a lock, Bader is going to be the best defensive CF in baseball... one in three gives us a heck of a team.

Gorman at 2nd actually has me excited! He seems like he looks natural there fielding and his offense would be better than wong's.

I saw in the Post Dispatch that Gorman has been in the work out groups with Arenado, Goldy, and DeJong. Getting that mentorship early. Looking to see what he can do during Spring at the position.

In the same article, everyone has been marveling about Arenado's defense in practice. A lot of the quotes were from DeJong so its good to see his presence rubbing off on other players.
