Is it a good idea to raise the minimum wage to $15/hr? The CBO doesn't think so:

That document is interesting.
It does include things debated here:
- unemployment is expected to increase 1.4 million lost jobs
- cost of goods is expected to increase
- .9 million people no longer living in poverty
- better health potential for low wage workers
It also implies, to me anyhow, that it's a net positive. More reading to do though.
Surely a sign of the end times.
Does it help the low wage workers if they lose their job due to the wage increase? And makes it harder for them to find a new job with the elimination of nearly 2M jobs?

No. It also doesn’t help to only look at one side of the ledger 100% of the time, dismiss any study that disagrees with you, and champion anyone that agrees with you. What I’m saying there are positive and negatives. Also you are a partisan hack

This bill is dead now.

is the current minimum wage the same in every state in America or is it different?
can any connection be made for what could happen in America from those that think $15 would be bad, based on the minimum wage in Canada? minimum wage here is $14 an hour.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Wow, that's sloppy grammar. I can't edit my posts since I've been a mod. Lol
