I would love to make a trade, but until you get to see what you have when you can ice your full team, I think you have to wait a few games.

    Some takes from this game...
-- I have to put this in writing but Braun had a super solid game.
-- Giroux looked really good again.
-- Jake looked a step slow today (to be expected with the Rona return)
-- Jake's line as a whole seems like it has a ton of potential.
-- TK may be eligible to be removed from the rona list tonight...
-- Myers was benched...and it was okay...lol I think he will play great tomorrow though. Bench either Hagg or Gus...hopefully Gus, but it might be Hagg since Gus has been doing okay on the PP.
-- Moose w/ back-2-back shutouts on the Sabres.
--Hart needs to let up 2 or less tomorrow for his confidence...hopefully Eichel takes another day off.

If we have Pettersson, Makar, or Hischier instead of Patrick, we are the favorites in the east ... classic Philly ... chance of a lifetime at #2 up from 13 and cant cash in

The goal scoring on this team is not sustainable in the playoffs, and is virtually nothing without couturier. He is our lone goal generation and basically all things bright spot, as always

Weirdly I think the Flyers are 10-1-2 against not boston this season.

Because he needs to learn to clear the porch in front of the net.

Yes. Cuz people get better at stuff by actively taking away their opportunities to do stuff

watching the game and listening to the coach could actually help... benching him was to send a message to him. Cant just let him be that *** and screw the team over in hopes he will learn.

    1. You can't listen to the coach while watching a game. You aren't with him.

    2. This is what film studies are for.

    3. Wonder what would happen if a coach tried coaching. That could help in theory.

    4. You can't get better at something without doing it. Period. Benching him for needing to get better at a skillset and expecting that skill to develop is insane.

    5. Giving a player a night off to hit refresh is reasonable. But don't try and sell it as a skill development tool. That's not a thing

Wasn't really our fault there, but I get what you're saying. Patrick was the consensus top 2 guy there and we took him. That said, just because he isn't scoring in droves yet, doesn't mean he won't. He's coming back from a season long injury and is starting to become more noticeable in each game. He and Lindblom will start contributing soon enough. Our team is pretty evenly stacked is the nice thing. Laughton is even starting to look like a solid top 9 player also. Jake needs to step up. Giroux has looked great the last few games and has something like 12 hit posts the season I think the Sabres announcers said today (got stuck with those guys). Also had one goal taken away by TKs jersey haha.
