We done being fans who just get a boner over players or are we gonna talk about the trash we are seeing? Ghost/Gus and Braun suck *** and there is something really wrong with our offense. We are paying all of this money to G and voracheck and where are they? Stupid *** penalty after stupid *** penalty... where is the briers who come alive when it matters? Its sad because JVR is the one i wanted us to get rid of but he is making vora and G look like minor league players... HOW?

Score timers cost us a rush on the PP by letting the players out of the box early for Boston. The Boston player also blocked the pass as he was exiting the box which, regardless, is a penalty, but they didn't call it because he wasn't supposed to be out yet. Then to compound it, they state that after the couple seconds ran off before the whistle, his penalty was over. That is something that should not happen at the NHL level to be honest.

That said, a really nice period there by the Flyers. Love that Braun wasn't on the ice too much, but that was only because we had a lot of PP time. The penalties have been drawn by our guys moving their feet. Clear hold vs G there at the end not called...probably because of the lopsided penalties at this point (3 PPs to 1 PP).

The leadership/new captain/best player has cartilage disconnected from his ribs and will be back soon.

We’ve needed to move Voracek for 4 years ... how he acquires points is redundant with G ... we needed to acquire Laine.

Patrick should be used to move Voracek ... both high floor players need to be moved for a much higher ceiling player. We haven’t had an elite goal scorer since ... Jeff Carter

we're not playing well, BOS is a difficult matchup, the refs were horseshit, and our selke award winning center isn't in the lineup.

it's a long season. there are ups and downs.

Any time Nolan Patrick would like to do anything to show why he was #2 overall besides playing sound defensive coverage would be very welcomed

Myers should be benched for a while after that. All he had to do was take the body. Some people might not like this, but Provy isn't that good. Our whole D team is over rated by us as fans. They need to do better in their own end.

because we are slow.


hayes and JVR are as slow as anyone in the league. voracek and giroux have lost their top end speed. lindblom and patrick are still getting their feel for the game back after missing most of the last 18 months. laughton, bunnaman, raffl and farabee have average-ish acceleration.

the only forwards we have with above average top end speed, acceleration and who haven't lost a step are NAK and konecny.

i'll just say that at some point, guys are gonna get hot, and things are going to look a lot better. until that happens, this team is just going to have to win ugly...and at least they seem to be pretty good at doing that.

Voracek is an unbelievable penalty killer, too bad it happens when the Flyers are on the PP.

fletcher has been here for two calendar years and he has yet to make a signature move, or even really so much as attempt to make a dent in the roster he inherited.


it's about time for him to make something happen.

Not sure we should be trading away anything right now, give it a couple of games for Couts to get his skating legs and move back to the first line where he belongs. Have to say it but Patrick should be centering the 4th line and Laughton should be 3rd line center. Sure him and NAK have taken some bad penalties but so have others, at least those 2 give 100% every shift. Ghost needs to be back on PP1, Sanheim & Gust/anyone else on PP2, let Provy rest. Elliot should be getting more starts until Hart can find his game.
