    IGT: February "Better Play"

Getting lucky with these wins and horrible play. Need to clean it up and not rely on luck. Getting people back health should help there too. Didn't like the TK benching but if everyone received the message then great. 5v5 play needs to get better!

Flyers can't continue their winning ways by just getting by. There are too many games they won that could have gone either way which is not good if you want to be a dominant team in hockey. Team has had a couple of days off so hopefully they come out strong against Boston who killed them last game.

For what it's worth, they played a lot better in the second game than the first vs the Isles. Also, this has been without Couts for most of the season and he is a HUGE part of this team's offense, PK, defense, and PP. We are lucky to be a deep team, but you don't wanna play without your Selke winner for 3 weeks in a condensed season....

Speaking of Couts, any update on when he may return?

EDIT -- Never mind... "Per GM Chuck Fletcher, center Sean Couturier is an estimated 7 to 10 days away from returning to the lineup. An additional update will be provided in the coming days."

Read the bottom of my post. That was the report as of Monday directly from Fletcher. Speculation is that he will either be back for Sunday's matchup or Tuesday's matchup depending on how he feels after the morning skates. He's been skating with the team for the past 5 days or so.

I mean this is just an ugly ugly looking team. You just hope the next game will finally be better and they come out flat yet again, something's gotta give.

Got caught flat footed to start the game and took most of the 1st to recover.

this has been a "win ugly" team since the first day AV got here. it's just what they are; it's how they do.

I'd love to see what G and Jake can do with a competent third party for an extended period of time.

Awful penalty for Laughton. It is why he needs to be replaced. No shot in OT now.

Couturier is such a difference maker. This changes big time when couts is out there vs Bergeron line.

We do need someone who is a consistent goal scorer. For as awesome as Farabee has been, ... both Provorov and Patrick are underwhelming again given their opportunity to establish themselves as the next generation of guys (like next 10 years guys). Patrick has been understandably trying to find chemistry with teammates, but provorov either needs to have his minutes managed better or step up on some of these lapses, he does a lot but thatís why he was a top 10 pick
