The Republican party has carter to them, embolden their issues to maintain their political power over the decades and now they have lost control of their base and it's consuming them. Rep. Greene has more pull with their base than Mitch if you look at her small individual campaign donations totals. The religious/cultural base is now running the party. Look at how McCarthy is trying his best to play up to them to maintain his majority leadership role in Congress. You know Mitch was pissed that the conservative/religious/culture warriors SC judges pull their stunt with abortion rights before the mid-terms.
