I think the right has some merit to their argument. I think what we should focus on is how to make these requirements easy and available for all people.
The left obviously feels like the requirements are stacked against their voters, so rather than oppose voter Id, why not actively address any tilt against their voter base?

There is no wide spread voter fraud and more people engage in "fraud" from the side of eliminating people from the rolls than do from the act of voting. Focus efforts there. We don't need to put unnecessary and burdensome regulation on people to make other people feel better.
Arizona is looking to pass a law that gives the state legislature the ability to throw out their electors anytime before inauguration.
In other words, next election if they don’t like how their state voted, they want to have the power to change it and give a big **** you to the people.
Fundamental election reform. 24x7x365 voting access, in person at the DMV, Tax office, library, post office, grocery store, and on the internet. Full personal audit access and transparency. Ranked choice voting.
And as long as we are dreaming, term limits and get the money out of elections and politics.
We already have this and an audit was conducted in Georgia and the system passed. Is anyone surprised that this isn't getting play on the right?

well, it could work against them, too
...........but it'll never pass
gotta love 'referential' treatment
Setting up more loops to jump thru to correct a problem that doesn't exist. Our voting systems are secure, it has always been secure. We have a problem with people not voting not people voting more than once. They keep piling on this bs. Keep adding steps into the voting process.

Even the Social Security Administration trusts verifying people's identity to sign up for benefits completely online......sign up, register, verify with codes texted to you....that end up voter registration and voting simply doesn't have to be that difficult

Just to keep the both sides pattern going, you know the Dems suppressed Green party votes in several states right?
(to those who will accuse me based on that, I realize the GOP is doing that stuff more right now, but that hasn't always been the case and it's completely possible it could swing the other way some day)
We should have 1 system for all votes at every level. The fact that every municipality can choose to do things whatever way they want is kind of crazy in the information age.
