I don't understand how the Bears gave Dalton so much money. He signed for 3 mil last year. It was super late in the cycle so he probably took what he can get at this point.

The Bears gave him 10 mil that could be 13 mil. It's like they had to tell him he had a chance to be a starter to get him to sign, and then the money had to align with that.

Money talks man. The vines aren't a bad team though they struggled out of the gate but played okay down the stretch. They definitely have a playoff caliber roster. Doesn't mean they'll make it, but they are right on the brink. And it's pretty easy to taln yourself into them being a playoff team if they're offering the most money.

Plus, as Matt Bowen pointed out, it's close to an ideal scheme fit for him. He plays alot of man but doesn't quite run like he used to. The vikes play alot of man but they also have safety help over the top alot. So he doesn't have to worry about getting cooked deep as much.

Honestly, he probably realizes he doesnt have a ton of big pay days left. A borderline playoff team that's a good scheme fit for a pretty good sized contract makes a ton of sense.

it's a great deal for Green Bay. it does not do anything for their future and Dalton at best will be meh.

Adams had a lot of bad luck, injured his rookie year and IR'd brought back late in the year and did a little, 2nd year was more or less his rookie season and limited playing time, 3rd season limited snaps, 4th year injured ir

Would be a great pick up for us. We had interest a few years back and fills a need spot.

Not a bad option but not the best either.

If the packers just sit here and wait this CB market out I donít think it gets them the best deal. Freaking go get a guy that will help this damn team.

The Des King deal seemed to be pretty decent, especially when you factor in him as a punt returner. But other than that, I wouldnt say there's been a ton of steals at CB in FA. I don't hate waiting it out thus far. Two or three solid signings might be better for this team than blowing it all in one guy.

He may be the best value out there taking into account the fact he also won't count against the comp scenario.

What does he really bring to the table now, though? Heís obviously declined. We donít need another Kevin king.
