I can't wait to see what the price is. I'm trying to figure out if I think Watson will hurt or help his value. I could see a team backing out of the Watson sweepstakes to get Stafford for way less, but I could also see the losing Watson bidders get antsy and overpay for him.
Pats and Colts seem like the most logical fits.

Good for Matthew. Too bad Barry and Calvin couldn’t escape.
I'm excited for him to hopefully go to an actually competent organization and actually have a shot at winning something

While I agree with your statement, a warning about Stafford. While he is good, he isn't a "make team mates better" kind of guy. He needs the right situation and he can win. He is not Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Wilson.
With that said, I hope this works out well for both. Seems like Lions finally tearing it down with new leadership and Stafford gets a chance to win (depending where he lands).
Ultimately the right decision for the future of this organization. I'm hoping for at least 3 picks outta him.
Stafford is 32. Makes more sense for a contender to trade for him especially IF you are giving up a 1st and 3rd or 4th rounder. I believe his contract is up in 2 years when he is 34. Will be interesting.
Colts and 49ers both make sense for Stafford. Its a matter of what they are willing to give up.
Unfortunately it is time given his age and we are starting yet another rebuild. Hopefully he goes to a winner. Indy or SF would be fine with me.
I think Colts should be all over this.
