3- Jets especially because they have the cap space and the picks to make it happen...plus New York is the media capital of the world...bright lights big city...Dak could build up his brand in the city of New York the city that never sleeps

4- Dolphins they too have the assets to get Dak as well

5- Steelers especially if you want to upgrade from Big Ben and you need a succession plan in place

6- Bears especially if you want a franchise QB to build around...Dak is an upgrade from Trubisky and or Files

7- Saints especially if you want another face of your franchise

8- Raiders is another intriguing landing spot for Dak

Wild card in all of this...Dak to the New England Patriots to play for Bill Belichick up in Foxboro...Dak as a Patriot could you imagine
All of those teams have the cap space for $44M per on a 3 year deal?

Well most of them do especially if they have the assets and the draft capital to make it happen but also players they can add but if only if you're trading for Dak

But if Dak leaves Dallas in free agency anyway and he doesn't sign under the tag or if Dallas decides not to tag him, then if Dak goes out on the open market

Then well any of those teams would and could be in play to sign Dak anyway

Why does the number keep getting bigger? I thought it was $41 million.

They do have the cap for something like $32 million, $38 million, $45 million in terms of cap hits. I believe that's about the most Dak could get in free agency.

Personally I don’t care if it’s $35M though, I wouldn’t pay him that much.

Dak Signing With Cowboys Will Take $40M Per Year - NFL Insider

    https://predominantlyorange.com/2021...scott-demands/

Dak Prescott allegedly wanting $40 million per year is exactly where the quarterback market is, and no team should be afraid to pull out their checkbook and meet his demands.

    https://bleacherreport.com/articles/...d-to-sway-fans

On Tuesday's episode of The Dan Patrick Show, Dan Patrick said a source told him the Cowboys leaked Prescott's desire for a $40 million annual average salary.

What maybe is too confusing for you is the report that if Dallas demands Dak sign a 5 year deal, he wants the 5th year of that deal to be $45M. For example: Mahomes's contract pays him $59M in 2027, when the cap will be much higher. Mahomes's contract will also be out of guarantees by then and probably be re-negotiated. There is no dead cap for Mahomes after 2024, which is effectively when his deal ends.

If they can afford $44M per on a 3 year deal of course.

Because Dak’s agent said he wants to get paid slightly less than Mahomes who’s scheduled to make $45M/per.

This report says he wants a contract “right behind” Patrick Mahomes. Considering he’s making $45M/per it’s safe to say he’s looking for $44M/per.

And like I said before, $40M or $44M, I wouldn’t pay it. I’m not wrecking the future of my team for Dak Prescott. I mean I like the QB but not enough to wreck my team. I’d let him walk before giving him that much.

A QB making $40M is right behind Mahomes on the list of top paid QBs. It would go:

    1. Mahomes
    2. Dak
    3. Watson

But this confirms you have zero sources for Dak "demanding" $44M, you just made it up.

The next franchise QB to sign a deal, Dak or otherwise, will make $40M to $44M on that deal.

So you're saying you want the Cowboys to miss the playoffs, essentially, until tanking enough to get a top 3 pick.

Then let Dak go to the 49ers or Bears or Dolphins or Jets
