It was only a matter of time for Nick.
Maybe Reich will bring in Pederson to replace Sirianni.
I am happy with this. I was hoping for him or Joe Brady.
What a great hire, eagles did a good job finding this guy considering no one else interviewed him
Upon research he seems to have the goods
Damnit... I wanted it to be Josh McDaniels
I am surprised by it because I thought McDaniels was the favorite to get the job. Also, it sounds like the Eagles were focusing on coaches with offensive backgrounds, and I am not entirely sure that Sirianni was more qualified than Bieniemy, Daboll, or McDaniels in that regard. But, I wonder if coaching with Frank Reich these past few years helped him get this job. Reich's endorsement probably matters a ton.
The primary reasons why I like Sirianni as a coaching candidate is his QB background and his age. I feel that he's the type of guy that can groom a QB and grow with that QB.
My biggest question is how is he as a playcaller? I'm pretty sure he's never called plays, so that's TBD.
Also, I think it'll be vital that he surrounds himself with a smart coaching staff because I envision he'll want to use a collaborative approach when game planning and building the offense kind of like Pederson/Reich and Reich/Sirianni. Hopefully he has good connections around the league, would not be shocked if he tries to poach Colts QB coach Marcus Brady.
Basically, I think it's a promising hire, but it's not a slam dunk. Cautious optimism.

Not a bad hire. Could have been MUCH worse. This one at least makes sense considering his connection to Frank Reich.

I thought Duece was the easy choice here . Players love him he could have brought what seems like a troubled Lockeroom together
