Great career hindered by incompetent ownership. I am a bit surprised he retired because of how well he played in his final game. Thought there was a good shot he returns.

As for the Colts I think the most likely scenario is a stopgap like Winston, Fitz, Dalton and to continue grooming Jacob Eason as the future QB. Hoping like hell they somehow get Stafford. Every realistic option has some level of excitement to it except if they bring back Brissett.

I'd personally be willing to offer 2021 1st (21st overall) + 2021 3rd and next year's 2nd round pick as well. I'd be willing to give up a 1 next year if it had to be done, but I highly doubt it happens because Chris Ballard values draft picks. However, it's a good time to get desperate.
